The Community Singers of Lake Norman founded in 2017 with a vision: to promote
quality choral singing, to foster a public appreciation for the choral arts, and to inspire and serve the communities of Lake Norman.
Currently, our singers pay a sum to cover expenses which include items like: sheet music, stipends for the Musical Director and Accompanist, and limited production costs because they believe in our vision.
Operating expenses, productions costs, bands, plus equipment also require funding for our productions. The chorus performs at community and patriotic events (i.e. Memorial Day), fundraising events (Alzheimer’s and Watchmen of the Streets), shut-ins, nursing homes & hospices, hospitals, schools and churches. We also desire to provide annual music scholarships for young area musicians to keep music in their lives.
